The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has launched the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 Diaspora Tour, an initiative aimed at strengthening ties between Africa and its global diaspora through the unifying power of football, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

More than a promotional campaign, the tour is being positioned as a cultural bridge celebrating African identity, heritage, and pride across continents. It will include two major events: one in London on 28 November at Below the Lights, Piccadilly Circus, and another in Paris on 4 December at YOYO, Palais de Tokyo.

A central feature of the tour is the display of the AFCON trophy, a symbol CAF says represents far more than competitive glory. For millions of Africans worldwide, the trophy embodies unity, pride, and belonging an emblem of a shared footballing tradition that transcends borders.

CAF describes the Diaspora Tour as a celebration of both legacy and culture, bringing together music, heritage, and football in a vibrant expression of African identity. The events will spotlight African football icons who have made significant impacts in Europe and honor diaspora communities whose support has helped elevate African football on the global stage.

As preparations intensify for AFCON Morocco 2025, CAF says the Diaspora Tour is designed to ensure the continent’s premier football event resonates not only within Africa but in every corner of the world where Africans live and celebrate the game.
