Just days after revealing a redesigned CAF Champions League trophy, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is set to unveil a brand-new trophy for the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday in Zanzibar, ahead of the tournament’s final match, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The newly designed trophy for CAF’s Interclub competition reflects a bold vision to reimagine the tournament’s identity while honouring its rich legacy.

It is part of CAF’s broader strategy to rebrand and elevate its competitions, emphasizing the visual prestige of African football.

Symbolizing aspiration, unity, and excellence, the trophy features a matte gold ball at its peak, adorned with a polished gold map of Africa—a proud representation of the continent.

Two matte gold arms embrace the ball, signifying unity and strength.

The trophy’s sleek silver body, enhanced by a striking gold lightning streak, captures the dynamism and competitive spirit of the tournament.

Its marble base, textured with a hammered finish, symbolizes tradition and prestige and is engraved with the competition’s name and its past winners.

Standing 45 cm tall and weighing between 8 to 10 kg, the trophy is a true emblem of glory—an embodiment of the relentless ambition and enduring passion that defines African football.
