CAF/WAFU-B Women’s Football Workshop Kicks Off in Abuja

The CAF/WAFU-B Women’s Football Administrators Workshop officially commenced on Sunday in Abuja, Nigeria, bringing together key stakeholders tasked with advancing the development of women’s football across West Africa, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The three-day programme, scheduled from April 26 to 28, convenes Presidents of Women’s Football Commissions and Heads of Women’s Football Departments from CAF Member Associations within the WAFU-B zone.
The workshop is designed as a strategic platform to strengthen administrative capacity, align development visions across the sub-region, and enhance collaboration among football governing bodies committed to the growth of the women’s game.
Discussions will focus on improving structures, sharing best practices, and identifying sustainable pathways for the continued expansion of women’s football in West Africa.
The gathering in Abuja is expected to feature sessions of exchange, technical training, and strategic engagement aimed at inspiring renewed momentum for women’s football development across the zone.
