CAF Women's Awards: Super Falcons Dominate Nominations

African soccer governing body has unveiled the preliminary nominees for the various women’s categories for the CAF Awards 2023, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Nigeria's Super Falcons players dominated the categories of the awards except at the club level.
Seven (7) Falcons players including Asisat Oshoala, Toni Payne, Christie Ucheibe, Rasheedat Ajibade, Osinachi Ohale, Chiamaka Nnadozie, and Uchenna Kanu got nominated for the Player of the Year award.
Paris FC Feminine goalkeeper Nnadozie still got nominated in the goalkeeper of the year category.
The trio of Tosin Demehin, Deborah Abiodun, and Opeyemi Ajakaiye were put up for the Young Player of the Year award.
Coach Randy Waldrum was nominated for the Coach of the Year while Nigeria's Super Falcons is also in contention for the National Team of the Year award.
The Awards Gala will be staged on the 11th of December 2023 in Marrakech, Morocco.
