Bayelsa Queens FC Gets Sponsor.


The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Bayelsa State, Dr Baraladei Daniel Igali has stated that he is delighted with the commitment of Premium Trust Bank, as a kit sponsor of Bayelsa Queens football club.

Dr Igali made the disclosure in Lagos, when they were hosted by Premium Trust Bank, before the team departed for Morocco for the 2nd CAF Women's Champions League.

According to him, they are a State with progressive-minded people, and that football is one of the major sports both the Government and citizens are so keen about and that it is not to say they are not interested in other sports, but football is the most followed sport in this part of the world for now.

The Youth and Sports Commissioner who is also the President of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation, said it was a welcome development and a significant sponsorship for Premium Trust Bank and added that this is what the sports industry has always wanted from corporate entities.

Managing Director Premium Trust Bank, Mr Emmanuel Emefienim said his organization is proud to identify with Bayelsa Queens football club and that the major goal of the bank is to support growth.

According to the MD, they decided to associate with Bayelsa Queens FC, to drive towards enabling growth they put into their story and added that this should serve as motivation to the club as they dare to be different to win, no matter the obstacles the club have been through to get to where they are today. 

On his part, Chairman Bayelsa Queens FC Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala said it was a remarkable achievement and that the club is delighted and added that other corporate entity should emulate the good work of Premium Trust Bank.
