CAF Women's Champions League: Mary Anjor Thrilled To Be Part Of This Year's Edition

Bayelsa Queen's attacker Mary-Magdalene Anjor is excited to be participating in this year's Women's CAF Champions League that Is presently going on in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Nigerian team suffered a 2-1 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies in the opening group match with Anjor scoring the only goal.
Despite the defeat, Anjor still believes they can turn the situation around and secure a qualification ticket for the next round.
"I was happy because my team was able to score a goal. It has been a long time prayer and I’m happy God did it for me and my team despite the fact we did not win.
"I feel good and happy to be part of this year's CAF Women Champions League. It is a great opportunity for me to do my best and focus more on other bigger things ahead", she told CAF media.
Bayelsa Queens will face TP Mazembe on Thursday before playing Wadi Degla in the final group match.
