CAF Women's Champions League: Okara Drills Bayelsa Queens In Casablanca

Coach Domo Okara had his first training sessions after he and his assistants drilled players Bayelsa Queens on Tuesday morning in Casablanca, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Prosperity Girls had on Monday landed safely in Morocco for the second edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League which begins on Sunday.

The Nigerian Women League champions after their training, said they are well prepared and motivated for the crucial tournament that will start on Sunday, and promised not to let Bayelsa State and Nigeria down.

Bayelsa Queens who are in Group B will confront the defending champions of the competition Mamelodi Sundown Queens of South Africa in the opening group match on October 31st at the Grande De Marrakech.

Then took on Wadi Degla and TP Mazembe much later for a spot in the semifinals.

The winner of this year's edition will get a grand prize of $400,000 while the runners-up would take $250,000 back home.

The two semi-finalists are expected to receive $200,000. Meanwhile, the teams ranking third and fourth in the group phase would respectively secure $150,000 and $100,000 each.
