CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifier: WAFU B Unveils Fixture Schedule

The West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B has officially released the fixture schedule for the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League qualifier, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The draw, conducted on Thursday, placed Nigeria’s champions Bayelsa Queens in a challenging Group B. The Prosperity Girls will battle Ghana’s Police Ladies, AS Garde of Niger, and Benin’s Sam Nelly FC.

Group A features Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas, AS GNN of Niger, and Burkina Faso’s USFA.

According to the schedule, the tournament will kick off on August 23 with ASEC Mimosas taking on AS GNN in the opening game, while Bayelsa Queens begin their campaign against Police Ladies later that day.

The group stage concludes on August 30, followed by the semifinals on September 2. The third-place playoff and the grand finale are slated for September 5.
