CAF Young Player Award Nomination Excites Super Falcons Abiodun

Super Falcons midfielder Deborah Abiodun, has expressed joy over her nomination for the CAF Young Player of the Year (WOMEN) award - Final 3, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Abiodun, who is a shining light for the Super Falcons, will have the duo of Comfort Yeboah of Ghana and Nesryne El Chad of Morocco to contend with for the award.

She said: "I'm excited to express my gratitude for making it to the final three shortlist for the CAF Awards 2023 as a nominee for Young Player of the Year (Women). 

"It's an honour to be recognized among the outstanding talents on a continent. Proud and grateful for this opportunity."

The midfield sensation has proven to be one of the superstars in the making from her breakthrough performance at the FIFA U-20 World Cup to the FIFA Women's World Cup.
