CAF inspection set to visit Ivory Coast for stadium inspection and preparations

The Secretary General of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Véron Mosengo-Omba will arrive this Tuesday afternoon, June 07, 2022 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, host country of the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations,BSNSports.com.ng reports.


Mosengo-Omba leads a delegation which will hold important meetings relating to the preparations for the CAN 2023, specifies the governing body of African football in a press release.


On Wednesday June 8, the CAF delegation will meet the leaders of the Ivorian Football Federation and members of the Ivorian government.


The following day, the said commission will hold other working sessions with the Local Organizing Committee and will visit two stadiums and certain sites selected for the competition.
