CAFCC: Al Masry Board Of Directors Receive Kanu

Despite securing a comfortable victory over Enyimba International, the board of directors of the Egyptian side Al Masry received former Super Eagles attacker Kanu Nwankwo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian legend, who is also the chairman of the People's Elephant, led the team to Egypt for the opening group game of the CAF Confederation Cup.

A brace from Mahmoud Hamada handed Al Masry a comfortable 2-0 win.

The directors of the club received Kanu and gave him special recognition for what he has done for football on the continent.

Kanu is one of the few African players who won Player of the Year more than once.
