CAFCC: Asante Kotoko To Arrive Nigeria On Friday

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko are set to arrive in Nigeria on Friday ahead of their decisive second-leg clash against Kwara United in the CAF Confederation Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Porcupine Warriors, who qualified for the competition as Ghana FA Cup champions, claimed a hard-fought 4-3 victory in the first leg in Kumasi.

They now head into the return fixture knowing that a draw would be enough to secure progression to the next round.

Kwara United, fondly called the Afonja Warriors, will look to overturn the narrow deficit in front of their home fans.

The match has been scheduled for Sunday at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Both sides are expected to put up a fierce contest, with continental survival at stake.
