CAFCC: Bendel Insurance Defender Confident Of Positive Result Against ASO Chlef In Algeria

Bendel Insurance will face ASO Chlef on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Stade Mabrouki Salem in Algiers and Stanley Anyanwu is confident of a victory in the return leg, writes BSNSports.com.ng.

The Benin Arsenal go into that game off the back of a 1-0 win in the first leg at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, through a goal from Imade Osarenkhoe.

Despite precedence which has seen many Nigerian clubs crash out of continental competitions after losing against North African oppositions, Anyanwu is assured of positive fortunes in Algeria.

Speaking in an interview with Adesina David, the defender stated that he is “110% sure that Bendel Insurance will come out victorious."

When questioned concerning his performance, he was also positive about delivering more impressive performances for the Benin Arsenal, come the 2023/24 Nigerian Premier League season.

Sharing his thoughts concerning the 2023/24 season and the possibility of wrestling the league title from Enyimba, Anyanwu also maintained his unflinching confidence in the club.

He expressed that the signings made ahead of the new season will help the side in winning their course of success in the upcoming season.
