CAFCC: CAF Set Rules For Enyimba International, Others

Ahead of the start of the 2024/2025 Champions League and Confederation Cup, CAF has set rules for the participating teams including Nigeria's representative Enyimba International, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
As the competitions set to take off at the end of month, CAF under Patrice Motsepe is urging the clubs to adhere strictly to the rules of the competition.
According to the rules : Match loss and elimination: Teams that commit fraud on a player's identity or allow a suspended or non-qualified player to participate in a match will lose the match and be eliminated from the competition.
Team official suspension: A team official who receives two cautions will be automatically suspended from the next match. Player suspension: A player who is sent off the field by the referee in three matches of the same competition will be automatically suspended for the rest of the competition.
Fine: Teams may be fined for misconduct on and off the field. Closed-door matches: Teams may be ordered to play their next matches behind closed doors. Disciplinary measures: The General Secretary can apply disciplinary measures to incidents registered on match reports.
Member Association responsibility: Member associations are responsible for any acts of their members that are caused by negligence or misconduct.
