CAFCC: Etoile Filante Skipper Confident Of Victory In Nigeria

Despite failing to achieve the much-needed win at home, the captain of the Burkina Faso side Etoile Filante Abdoulaye Zongo has targeted a win in Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Burkinese hosted Nigeria's Premier Football League side Rivers United in the first leg of the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup in Abidjan last weekend and were able to play a goalless draw.

The second is scheduled for Port Harcourt in Nigeria and the team's skipper is already eyeing a positive result against the Pride of Rivers.

" We are confident in our ability as we have weighed the performance of Rivers United in the first leg.

“The players know what it is at stake and we are ready to achieve victory in the tie against Rivers United in Nigeria", he told the club media

The winner over the two legs will qualify for the group stage of the competition.
