CAFCC: Kwara United To Host Kotoko In Abeokuta

The MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta will host the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round second leg tie between Kwara United and Asante Kotoko, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Harmony Warriors suffered a 4-3 defeat to the Ghanaian heavyweights in Accra and are set to welcome the visitors for the all-important clash. 

The Ogun State Football Association confirmed that Kwara United will host the Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta this Sunday.

Meanwhile, a statement by the club confirmed that the ongoing renovations at the Rashidi Yekini Main bowl in Ilorin necessitated the change of venue.

Recall that the Nigeria Premier Football League had rescheduled the match day 6 fixture between Kwara United and Kano Pillars, which was initially slated for September 28, 2025, at the Sani Abacha Stadium, to October 8, 2025, due to the continental engagement.
