CAFCC: Rivers United, DC Motema To Hold Thursday

The postponed CAF Confederation Cup match between Nigeria Premier Football League champions Rivers United and DC Motema Pembe of DR Congo gets a new date, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The game was initially slated for Wednesday at the Goodwill Akpabio stadium in Uyo but had to be shifted after the Congolese side failed to show up.

According to the update coming from the Uyo venue of the game, the DC Motema team are likely to arrive in the country later on Wednesday night and the game has been fixed for Thursday.

Rivers United won Matchday 3 fixture against the same opponent in Luanda, Angola.
