CAFCC: Rivers United Departs Nigeria For Etoile Filante Clash

Rivers United will depart for Yamoussoukro Cote D'Ivoire by 10:25am on Friday 15th September 2023 for the CAF Confederation's Cup 2nd preliminary round, 1st leg tie against Etoile Filante de Quagadougou on Sunday 17th September 2023.

The team will depart for the city of Yamoussoukro, from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos via ASKY Airline.

The match is slated for the 20,000 capacity Municipal Stadium in Yamoussoukro. Kick-off is scheduled for 7pm.

The former Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Rivers United were drawn bye in the first round of the competition following impressive performance last season.
