CAFCC: Rivers United Will Do Everything To Win Convincingly- Austin

Ahead of the first leg of the CAF Confederations Cup playoff against Al Nasr of Libya, captain of Rivers United Festus Austin has said they will win convincingly on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigeria Representative will host the Libyan side at the Adokiye Amasiamaka Stadium in a game they must secure a total win.

While speaking on Monday ahead of the match, Austin said they must get to the group stage of the competition.

"We just have to give more than 100 per cent performance to win the game because we know how important this game is to us.

"We don't have any excuse not to get to the group stage and for us to get to the group stage we just have to do everything and win convincingly and I'm sure we will win", he said.

The Pride of Rivers dropped to the Confederation Cup playoff round after losing out to Wydad Casablanca of Morocco in the final round of the Champions League qualifier.
