CAFCC: Young African Get Cash Reward For Beating Rivers United

After getting a remarkable away win against Rivers United, the technical crew and players of Young Africans of Tanzania have gotten a cash reward for their effort, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The first leg of the quarter final game took place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo where Congolese striker Fiston Mayele scored twice in the second half to secure a 0-2 away victory for the Tanzania side.

The club president Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan visited the team training on Wednesday morning to offer his moral support to the team.

He handed over cash of Tsh 10 million ( US$4,251.74) as a reward for the team's victory in Nigeria.

Young African will hope to proceed to semi final of the competition following their first leg 2-0 advantage while hoping for a better result at home. Rivers United however have a mountain to climb in Tanzania to upturn a 0-2 deficit.
