CAFCC: Young African of Tanzania Coach Reveals How They Beat Rivers United

Following their 0-2 away victory in Nigeria, the head coach of Young Africans Of Tanzania Nasseredine Nabi has revealed how they defeated Rivers United in Uyo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Two second-half goals from Fiston Mayele ensured that the Tanzanian side secured a comfortable 2-0 win at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Nabi expressed his excitement about the result but made it clear that they took their chances against Rivers United.

"I am delighted to win because it is not easy to come to Nigeria and win. We played well and took our chances, but the game is far from over. 

We still have the second leg and we need to do even better to ensure we qualify,” he said.

Rivers United will have to score 3 unreplied goals in Tanzania next weekend to have a chance of reaching the semi-final of the competition.
