Zamalek striker Saifedine Jaziri has stressed that the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinal match against Enyimba International is not a mere formality, despite his team's qualification with a game to spare, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Zamalek secured their place in the quarterfinals last weekend with a dominant victory over Black Bulls of Mozambique.

Jaziri acknowledged Enyimba as a strong team but emphasized that Zamalek is determined to win the match for their fans.

"We are not taking this game lightly. We are focused on winning. Enyimba is a tough opponent," he said.

"We are playing at home, in front of our fans, and we will give our best. Zamalek is a big club, and we treat every match with seriousness, aiming for victory," he added.

The match is set to take place at Cairo International Stadium on Sunday.
