CAFCC Kwara United Secures Vital Win Against RS Berkane

Nigeria's representative Kwara United came from behind to beat RS Berkane of Morocco in the first leg of the qualifying round of the Confederation Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Morocco giants who are the defending champions came into the country on Friday with high hopes after they were drawn bye in the preliminary round.

They netted the opening goal through Cheik Qattara in the 8th minute and they seized control of the game. 

The Afonja Warrior were pegged back until the 73rd minute when Taofeek Ahmed levelled the game.

Wasiu Jimoh put the host in control of the game for the first time in the 84th minute before Daniel sealed the game with the 3rd goal four minutes later and it ended 3-1.

The Nigeria side will face RS Berkane in the reverse fixture next weekend in Morocco.
