CAFCL & CAFCC Quarter-Final Draw Holds Wednesday In Cairo

The Confederation of African Football has announced the quarter-final draw dates for the 2022/23 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.

CAF confirmed that the draw will be conducted on Wednesday 05 April 2023 in Cairo.

Eight teams have already secured their CAFCL quarter-final tickets, namely defending champions Wydad Athletic Club, 2016 winners Mamelodi Sundowns, JS Kabylie, Raja Athletic Club, Simba SC, Esperance Tunis, CR Belouizdad and record winners Al Ahly SC. 

In CAFCC, six teams are going into the final group stage round knowing that they have a place in the quarter-finals and three spots remain up for grabs.

Rivers United FC are through to the next round, where they are joined by Marumo Gallants, ASEC Mimosas, FAR Rabat, Young Africans and US Monastir.

The draw for the CAFCL and CAFCC quarter-finals will take place in Egypt at 20h30 local time (18h30 GMT and 21h30 East African Time) on Wednesday.
