CAFCL: AS FAR Captures Red-Hot Attacker For Remo Stars

Ahead of the first Preliminary Round of the Champion League, Moroccan club AS FAR has continued to strengthen their team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Rabat-based club was drawn against the Nigerian side Remo Stars in the first preliminary round of competition.

The team on Saturday announced the arrival of the former DR Congo attacker Joel Beya as they continue their readiness.

Beya played a pivotal role in Mazembe reaching the final four of the same competition last season before they lost to Al Ahly of Egypt.

AS FAR and Remo Stars are not new to each other, they met 2 years ago in the Preliminary Round of the Confederation Cup and it was the Moroccan side ASFAR who prevailed.
