CAFCL: Benin Official Takes Charge Of ASFAR, Remo Stars Clash

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the referee for the important second-leg clash between ASFAR of Morocco and Remo Stars of Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Sky Blue Stars in Ikenne last weekend defeated the Moroccan club 2-1 in the first leg of the preliminary round of the Champions League. The second leg is slated to be held on Sunday in Rabat, and the African soccer ruling body has named the match officials for the game. CAF on Thursday afternoon named Adissa Abdul Raphiou Ligali as the centre referee for the important clash. The Nigerian side required at least a draw to progress while ASFAR must win the game to reach the second round.
