CAFCL: CAF Appoints Uganda Referee For Remo Stars, ASFAR Clash

Ahead of the crucial first leg preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, the African soccer ruling body has appointed Uganda official for the game involving Remo Stars and ASFAR of Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Sky Blue Stars qualified to represent the country after they finished second in the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season. ASFAR also finished second last season in the Moroccan League. The football body announced Uganda's Mashood Ssali as the centre referee for the game. The game is scheduled to take at the Remo Stars stadium in Ikenne on August 18, 2024.
