Despite a depleted squad riddled with injuries, defending champions FC Pyramids showcased their class with a commanding 4-1 victory over Rivers United in a CAF Champions League clash in Uyo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

However, the Egyptian side responded decisively in the second half, with Fathi equalising in the 52nd minute.

Marwan then put the visitors ahead in the 66th minute, before late strikes from Odeh and Nasser sealed a resounding win for FC Pyramids.
