The assistant coach of Enyimba International Yemi Daniel has admitted that the situation in Libya was difficult for his team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Daniel and his superior Finidi George were not allowed to sit on the bench by the African soccer ruling body due to licensing issues.
The People's Elephant worked hard in the game against the host Ahli Benghazi but lost 4-3 in the end.
Coach Yema as he fondly called expressed his view via his social media handle and quickly shifted focus to the return leg.
"Difficult atmosphere in Benghazi, kudos to the lads for the great fight and focus on the return leg on Sunday in ABA," he said.
The reverse fixture is slated for the Enyimba stadium in Aba on Sunday.
