CAFCL: Enyimba Will Bounce NlBack From Shock Exit - Skipper

Following their ouster in the 2023 CAF Champions League, the skipper of Enyimba International, Ojo Olorunleke, has expressed his sadness about the early exit of his team in CAF club competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite scoring three away goals the People's Elephant failed to get the much-needed lone goal at home and crashed out 4-3 on the aggregate scoreline to Ahli Benghazi.

Ojo expressed his disappoinment through the club's social media handle on Monday and insisted that the club will be back and better.

“It’s painful to see the fans disappointed.

“But we will bounce back and make them (fans) proud.”

Enyimba remained the only club in Nigeria that has lifted the trophy in the past.
