CAFCL: It'll Not Be Easy Against Remo Stars, But Medeama SC Will Score - Adotey
Sampson Adedeji
The head coach of the Ghana Premier League champion Medeama SC Evans Adotey has admitted that the game against Remo Stars will not be easy but insisted that they will score in the game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Nigeria's representative Remo Stars will host the Ghanaian side in the second leg of the CAF Champions League and must score at least 2 goals without conceding any to proceed to the next round.
The coach made the statement at the airport in Accra on Saturday morning as the team was about to depart for Nigeria.
"So far, we have watched the video of the first game and corrected our mistakes with the video analyst.
On the pitch, we are dealing with our aerial ball abilities, picking second balls, and working on our direct play as well as mapping out strategies to adopt for Sunday."
"We have what it takes to qualify; what we need is to go in there with the right mental toughness to be able to withstand what would be thrown at us for 90 minutes."
"We would not have it easy in Nigeria; physically, they were better, however, that would not be the case in Nigeria. We're going to score because if we don't, they will score," he said.
