It was a mixed feelings for Nigerian forward Victor Mbaoma as his goal counted for little in APR FC's defeat to FC Pyramid of Egypt, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Egyptian side hosted the Rwandan club in the second leg of the CAF Champions League on Friday afternoon.

The first leg played two weeks ago in Rwanda ended goalless and APR were willing to secure a good result in the second leg but it was never meant to be.

Mustapha Fathi scored 4 goals, El Karti and Mohammed Chibi scored the other two goals before Nigeria striker Mbaoma netted the consolatory goal.

The result means that Mbaoma and APR FC are out of this year's Champions League 6-1 on aggregate
