CAFCL: Referee Director Educates Medeama SC Ahead Of Remo Stars Clash

Ghana Football Association Director of Referees Alex Kotey has schooled the technical crew and players of Medeama SC ahead of their CAF Champions League game against Remo Stars, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Some of the key areas of discussion included laws of the game, new changes and clarification to the laws, offside rules, deliberate play vs deflection, handball, the case of different situations and considerations as well as Dos and Don‘ts for players and team officials.

Medeama SC will represent Ghana in the Champions League having won the Ghana Premier League for the first time in their history.

The Mauves and Yellows have been paired with Nigerian side Remo Stars FC in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League.

The 1st leg of the two-legged tie is scheduled for the Cape Coast stadium on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
