CAFCL: Remo Stars Opponent To Play Away From Home If...

The first preliminary round opponent of Remo Stars in the CAF Champions League Medeama SC of Ghana will not be allowed to play at home if they reached the later stages of the competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
According to the Mr Emunah, a member of the CAF Licensing Department, the Ghana champion will only be allowed to play in the early stages of the competitions in Ghana but if they advance to the semi-finals, they would have to find a venue outside the country.
Medeama will be allowed to use the Cape Coast stadium for their match against Nigeria's Remo Stars.
“Medeama SC cannot play at any venue in Ghana should they make the semifinals of the CAF Champions League,†he said on Agrofie on Onua TV.
Medeama will welcome Remo Stars for the first leg of their game on the weekend of August 18 to 20.
