CAFCL: Remo Stars Will Fight Hard Against US Zilimadjou - Ogunmodede

Nigeria's current best domestic coach and Remo Stars gaffer, Daniel Ogunmodede has assured of his team's readiness to fight hard in the 2025/26 CAF Champions League preliminary round encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The reigning Nigeria champions are up against one of the most successful teams in Comoros Premier League history, US Zilimadjou.

The Comoros side were founded 1983 and have won the league 6 times; the most out of any teams besides Coin Nord.

Ogunmodede, who spoke on the pressure of defeating US Zilimadjou as his side are tagged favourites said: "I use to tell people that my name is Pressure, Daniel Ogunmodede Pressure. I know there is pressure to progress but we will fight hard."

The NPFL champions during the week intensified preparations for the clash billed for this Sunday at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Kuto, Abeokuta in Ogun State.
