CAFCL: Remo Stars Will Not Disappoint Nigerians - Daniel Ogunmodede

Ahead of their maiden participation in the CAF Champions League, the coach of the Nigeria Premier League side Remo Stars, Daniel Ogunmodede has assured that they will not disappoint Nigerians, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Sky Blue Boys qualified for the Champions League after finishing second behind Nigeria Premier League Champions Enyimba International.

The coach told the Punch correspondent, about the team's readiness for the tournament.

"The NPFL is a different competition from the CAF Champions League. I can tell you we have a team for next season’s NPFL but we need to beef up the team ahead of the Champions League. 

We are bringing in new players and when they come, we will begin to strategise for the Champions League.

" It is not going to be easy, but I believe with good preparations and committed players we will not disappoint", he said.

Remo Stars is expected to start the competition from the qualifying round.
