CAFCL: Rivers United Depart for Zambia Ahead of Power Dynamos Clash

Rivers United FC will depart Nigeria on Tuesday evening for Ndola, Zambia, ahead of their CAF Champions League Group A Matchday 3 encounter against Power Dynamos, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Pride of Rivers are scheduled to leave from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, aboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight, with the team’s contingent comprising players and officials expected to arrive in Ndola on Wednesday.
Rivers United will face Zambian champions Power Dynamos at the Ndola-Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
Kickoff for the crucial Group A fixture is set for 3:00 pm local time (2:00 pm Nigeria time).
The Nigerian side will be aiming to secure a positive result on the road as they continue their campaign in Africa’s premier club competition, with the outcome of the encounter expected to play a significant role in shaping the group standings.
