CAFCL: Sundowns Hit Nigeria On October 18 For Remo Stars

Mamelodi Sundowns may have announced their travel plans as they prepare to take on Remo Stars, the defending champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League, in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The South African team, which was the runner-up in last year's competition, received a bye in the first preliminary round due to their high ranking in CAF.

They will now enter the tournament in the second preliminary round. Sundowns will meet Remo Stars after the Nigerian club dominated their previous match against US Zilimadjou of Comoros, winning 5-0 on aggregate.

Remo Stars secured their spot in the second round by winning the first leg 4-0 at home and then achieving a 1-0 victory away.

Sundowns could travel to Nigeria on October 18 and will host Remo Stars at home on October 25.
