CAFCL: Super Eagles Defender's Goal Powers Remo Stars to Victory Over AS FAR

Super Eagles defender, Ismail Sodiq's sumptuous strike at the stroke of the hour mark helped to power Remo Stars to a 2-1 victory over AS FAR FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Sky Blue Stars got the better of the Moroccan opponents in the CAF Champions League Preliminary Round tie decided in Ikenne. 

Skipper of the side, Nduka Junior had given his team the opener before the visitors equalized. 

Sodiq, who had provided the assist to Junior got the winner in the 60th minute as they go into the second leg with a slim advantage. 

The return fixture will hold in Morocco in a week time.
