CAFCL/CC: CAF Gives Nigerian Clubs Deadline On Match Venues
Sampson Adedeji
African soccer governing body has sent out a message to all the participating clubs in the Champions League and Confederation Cup who don't have an approved stadium, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Confederation of African Football last week released the list of the stadiums approved to host the upcoming Champions League and Confederation Cup and no Nigerian clubs have an approved venue.
The football body on Monday afternoon said all the teams without an approved stadium must communicate their adopted venue to CAf on or before July 22nd.
The body further stated that failure to do so means CAF will schedule the game for any stadium of its choice.
Rangers International and Remo Stars will play in the Champions League while Enyimba International and El-Kanemi Warriors will contend in the Confederation Cup.
