CAFCL/CC: CAF Ignores Enyimba, Rangers Extends Registration Deadline For Ahly, Zamalek Sampson Adedeji

The Confederation of African Football has given the two Egyptian clubs Al Ahly and Zamalek the opportunity to register their players after the proposed deadline date, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The football body in June gave all the participating clubs in the Inter-Club competitions including Rangers International and Enyimba International August 31st as the deadline date to complete the registration of their players. According to an update from Cairo, the headquarters of CAF, the two Egyptian clubs have been given until the 12th of September to finalize their registration. No Reason was given for the extension of date for the two clubs. The second preliminary round of the C.hampions League and Confederation Cup is slated for mid September.
