The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that former Cameroon international Alex Song and Zambia legend Chris Katongo will assist in conducting the 2025/26 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup group stage draws, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The highly anticipated draws will take place on Monday in Johannesburg, South Africa. CAF described both former stars as “two legends, two leaders representing Central and Southern Africa at the big stage,” highlighting their immense contributions to African football during their illustrious careers.
Song, a former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder, represented Cameroon at multiple Africa Cup of Nations and World Cups, while Katongo captained Zambia to their historic 2012 AFCON triumph.
