CAFCL/CC: CAF Set To Postpone Group Stage Games

Following the upcoming qualifier of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN), the African soccer ruling body is set to postpone the upcoming group stage of the Champions League and Confederation Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

CAF president Patrice Motsepe earlier in the week in Kenya announced that the qualifier for CHAN will start in October almost the same time the group stage of the Champions League and Confederation Cup is supposed to take place . The football body is already pondering postponing the group stage games to November and December. The draw for the CHAN qualifier is also yet to be determined and the competition is slated to hold in early 2025.
