CAFCL/CC: Remo Stars, Rivers United, Other Nigeria Representatives To Discover Opponents In August

Nigeria’s representatives in the 2025/2026 CAF Inter-Club competitions are expected to learn their preliminary round opponents in August, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Remo Stars and Rivers United secured their spots in the CAF Champions League after finishing first and second, respectively, in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Abia Warriors, who finished third, and Kwara United, winners of the Federation Cup, will represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup.

CAF is considering holding the draws for the Champions League and Confederation Cup in August, during the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), which will be co-hosted by Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles B team are among the teams participating in the CHAN tournament.
