CAFCL/CC: Semi-Finalists Receive Major Cash Rewards

Following the conclusion of the quarter-finals in both the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced significant financial rewards for the semi-finalists, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In the Champions League, the four teams advancing to the semi-finals are Al Ahly (Egypt), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Orlando Pirates (South Africa), and Pyramids FC (Egypt). In the Confederation Cup, the semi-final spots have been secured by Simba SC (Tanzania), Stellenbosch FC (South Africa), RS Berkane (Morocco), and CS Constantine (Algeria).

CAF has awarded each Champions League semi-finalist $1.2 million, while each team in the Confederation Cup semi-finals will receive $750,000. 

The Champions League semi-final matchups will see Mamelodi Sundowns take on Al Ahly, while Orlando Pirates will face Pyramids FC.

In the Confederation Cup, Simba SC will clash with Stellenbosch FC, and RS Berkane will go head-to-head with CS Constantine.
