CAFCL Draws: Rivers United Lands In Pot 3

All is set for the 2025/26 CAF Champions League group stage draw, which will take place on November 3 in Johannesburg, South Africa, BSNSports.com.ng reports 

Nigeria’s flagbearer, Rivers United, has been placed in Pot 3 ahead of the highly anticipated draw. 

The Pride of Rivers booked their spot in the group stage after edging out Mozambique’s Black Bulls 3-2 on aggregate in the second preliminary round.

With teams distributed based on recent continental performances, Rivers United will face stiff competition as they await their group opponents from the higher-ranked pots.

CAF Champions League Pots:

- Pot 1: Al Ahly, Mamelodi Sundowns, ES Tunis, RS Berkane

- Pot 2: Simba, Pyramids, Al Hilal, Yanga

- Pot 3: Petro Luanda, AS FAR, MC Alger, Rivers United

- Pot 4: JS Kabylie, Stade Malien, St Eloi Lupopo, Power Dynamos
