CAFWCL: Adukwu Eyes Trophy With Edo Queens

The head coach of the Nigeria Women's Football League champions Edo Queens, Moses Adukwu, has set his eyes on the Women's CAF Champions League this year, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Adukwu led Edo Queens to the regional title in WAFU B and qualified to play in the playoff round of the competition.

The team has commenced preparations for the competition and former Nigeria's Junior International has focused on the trophy.

"We aim for nothing less than lifting the trophy; that is our desire. We know it won’t be easy, but we are focused on taking it one game at a time,” Aduku told the CAF website.

“Having reached this stage, we certainly don’t want to come back empty-handed. Our preparations have already started since the day we qualified."
