CAFWCL Playoff: Delta Queens Zoom Into Semi-Final With One Game To Spare

Nigeria Women Football League champion Delta Queens has qualified for the semi-final of the ongoing WAFU B CAF Women's Champions League playoff with a game to spare, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side comprehensively defeats the USFA of Burkina Faso 3-0 in the opening group game with the trio of Olabiyi, Chinaza Agoh, and Mercy Idoko scoring the goals.

Due to the withdrawal of one team from the group, Delta Queens was given a day off on Tuesday and Sam Nelly confronted USFA.

The game between both sides ended in a 1-1 draw which automatically qualified Delta Queens for the semi-final of the competition irrespective of the result they get from the last match against Sam Nelly of Benin Republic.
