The hope of Nigeria's senior men's Handball team Golden Arrows to bounce back from defeat in their first game suffered a big blow on Tuesday evening as they lost their second group game, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

The Nigeria side lost their opening group game to Tunisia on Monday 30-18 despite putting up an amazing performance..

They played against Cape Verde on Tuesday evening but found their opponents a hard nut to crack.

Golden Arrows showed an amazing display right from the blast of the whistle but found the Cape Verde attack line difficult to cope with.

The second stanza was keenly contested but it was Cape Verde that won with 35-29.
