CAHB 2022: Golden Arrows Win Placement Game Against Zambia

Nigeria's representative in the ongoing 2022 African senior men's handball championship Golden Arrows secured their first win in the tournament in Egypt, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

They had a competition to forget as they suffered a back-to-back defeat to Tunisia and Cape Verde which knocked them out of the competitive race.

They returned to action against Zambia on Friday evening in a placement game.

Coach Rafiu Salami-led team proved too much for Zambia as they dominated and won the first half 19-9.

They continued their dominance in the second half and were able to round off the game with a 35-17 victory.

They will face Senegal in another placement game on Saturday.
